The Environmental Cleaning Technician is tasked with the operation of specialized equipment and tools to deliver industrial and environmental cleaning services.

We provide comprehensive heavy industrial cleaning services across various sectors, including utilities, mining, chemical manufacturing, pulp and paper, and general manufacturing. Our expertise includes hydro blasting and vacuum truck operations, as well as tailored solutions for sulfuric acid facilities, encompassing preventative maintenance, repairs, and complete turnaround services. Additionally, we offer a range of waste processing and handling services to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding waste management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrive punctually at the designated location, dressed in uniform and prepared for work.
- Prepare the job site for vacuum truck operations and other environmental services, including setting up equipment, tools, and safety measures.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained before returning to the office.
- Adhere to GEIR safety protocols at all times.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to perform manual labor in outdoor environments.
- Previous experience in a related field is advantageous.
- Must be capable of working in confined and elevated spaces, as well as in various environmental conditions during shifts lasting 8 to 12 hours.
- Ability to utilize a respirator in environments with potential chemical exposure; may require being clean-shaven.
- Flexibility to work beyond an 8-hour shift if necessary, including emergency response situations.
- Preferred: At least one year of hands-on experience with tools or heavy machinery.
- A clean driving record is mandatory for this role.
Compensation:
- Hourly rate of $16-$19, commensurate with experience.
