We are seeking a skilled Imaging Technologist to join our team at Memorial Health. As an Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for administering x-rays to patients, operating imaging equipment, and preparing exam rooms and equipment for diagnostic procedures.
Responsibilities- Administer x-rays to patients and operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnosis.
- Prepare exam rooms and equipment for diagnostic procedures, including setting up and calibrating equipment.
- Provide quality care for all patients, including those with special needs or requirements.
- Embodies the Memorial Health System Performance Excellence Standards of Safety, Courtesy, Quality, and Efficiency.
- Perform mobile x-rays at patients' bedsides, in the ER, and in the Operating Room.
- Actively participate in quality assessment and quality improvement programs.
- Transport patients when necessary and adhere to all hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Graduate from an accredited school for radiologic technologist.
- Associates degree preferred.
- ARRT, IEMA, and BLS CPR certification required.
- Prior computer experience preferred.
Potential exposure to infectious diseases, blood-borne pathogens, and body fluids. Requires ability to assist transferring patients over 50 pounds occasionally. Physical demands include repetitive motions of the hands, walking, standing, and reaching above the head.
