Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Memorial Health. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in coordinating and performing MRI procedures to acquire high-quality images. Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of MRI procedures on outpatients and inpatients of all ages, adhering to established standards, policies, and guidelines.
  • Remain current with departmental protocol changes and maintain an excellent guest relations rapport with patients, visitors, physicians, and fellow employees.
  • Administer agents/pharmaceuticals under the supervision of the Radiologist and ensure proper infection control practices.
  • Monitor equipment and supplies to ensure safe and efficient operations, reporting problems to the proper authority.
  • Participate in flexible work hours, including overtime when necessary, and assume MRI call.
  • Maintain current credentials and participate in continuing education to stay up-to-date with current and new MRI technology.
Requirements
  • ARRT registered in Radiography or Magnetic Resonance Imaging or registry eligible.
  • Three years of experience as a technologist with documented skill advancement in the workplace preferred.
  • Operational background and/or experience with microcomputers preferred.
