Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide caring and attentive help to residents in managing their activities of daily living (ADLs) as well as in the administration of their medications.
  • Lead the team in caring for residents with skill and genuine kindness.
  • Act as the shift supervisor in the absence of the Director.
  • Follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to the instructions of the Director of Wellness.
  • Supervise and mentor staff to ensure high-quality care and services.
  • Assist residents with Alzheimer's disease and dementia, as needed.
  • Prioritize, multi-task, and work independently to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements:

  • Active NJ LPN certification.
  • Staff supervisory and medication oversight experience, preferably in an assisted living, nursing home or similar environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Compassionate and caring attitude towards residents and staff.
