Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor to teach courses in Database Development at our institution. The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer science and software engineering, with experience in teaching and developing curriculum.

Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in Database Development, including lectures, discussions, and hands-on exercises.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with industry standards and best practices.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to improve student outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement departmental goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • Two to three years of software engineering experience, preferably involving real-time systems, firmware, biomedical devices, network programming, machine learning, data engineering/analytics automation.
  • One to three years of experience teaching in a community college or advanced high school programming classes or relative industry experience.
  • Solid foundation in C++/Java/C# and strong software engineering knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications
  • HTML/CSS
  • SQL/Database
  • Cloud Application Development
  • Solid foundation in Python
