Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in aiding the Speech-Language Pathologist in fostering students' communication and language skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the evaluation and screening processes to identify students with speech and language challenges.
  • Support the execution of tailored therapy plans under the supervision of the Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other specialists to enhance students' communication abilities.
  • Keep precise and organized records of therapy sessions and track student progress effectively.
  • Engage actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) discussions to contribute to student success.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related discipline.
  • Possession of Texas state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant.
  • Prior experience in a school or pediatric environment is preferred.
