I am seeking a highly skilled Audit Supervisor to join our team at GPAC, a leading search firm specializing in public accounting placements.

Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Supervising the review and compilation of financial statements in accordance with firm and professional standards
  • Reviewing and interpreting overall financial results and communicating these results to team leaders
  • Understanding and communicating the potential impact of new accounting pronouncements to team members
  • Demonstrating expertise in applying appropriate auditing and accounting procedures and professional standards, and helping the engagement team to develop these skills
  • Communicating with clients and team members regarding project status, client opportunities, and other matters
  • Providing training, direction, and supervision to team members
  • Maintaining technical expertise in various areas related to industry specialization

Qualifications for this role include:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • CPA, Master's in accounting, or eligibility to sit for the CPA Exam (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple client projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Working knowledge of accounting and auditing principles
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, and Excel, ProSystem fx Tax

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $100,000-$130,000 and a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k), dental insurance, disability insurance, flexible schedule, health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, vision insurance, and work-from-home options.

Education: Bachelor's degree (required)

Experience: Public accounting experience: 2+ years (required)

License/Certification: CPA license (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid/onsite
