About the Job

Wild Bill's Tobacco is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Operations Manager to join our team. This role plays a critical part in supporting the Store Manager in achieving store objectives, including sales growth, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a proven track record of driving business results. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for assisting in recruiting, developing, and managing store employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service.

You will also play a key role in analyzing sales data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing strategies to drive sales growth and profitability. Additionally, you will assist in managing inventory, monitoring expenses, and executing promotional strategies to meet or exceed store sales and operational goals.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in recruiting, interviewing, selecting, and retaining store employees who possess the necessary skills and qualifications to excel in their roles.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills, resulting in improved customer satisfaction and sales performance.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies to drive sales revenue.
  • Manage inventory levels, monitor expenses, and execute promotional strategies to achieve store sales and operational goals.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager and other employees to ensure seamless store operations, including scheduling, customer service, and maintaining a safe and clean store environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
  • At least 21 years old and eligible to work in the location.
  • Prior experience in retail operations, management, or a related field is essential.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
