Clinical Counseling Supervisor

Position Overview: The Clinical Counseling Supervisor will oversee the team of Counselors and Counselor Interns who deliver therapeutic and case management services to clients, ensuring adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and BayMark's policies and procedures. This role involves ensuring timely and accurate documentation of client services in alignment with the care plan. The supervisor will assess and address the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs of assigned clients. Additionally, the supervisor will manage associated expenditures responsibly, adhering to the organization's budgetary guidelines.
Essential Job Functions:
- Lead and supervise all intake operations
- Evaluate intake assessments for quality assurance
- Guide pre-admission decisions, case evaluations, and counseling sessions to guarantee compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Maintain a manageable caseload
- Provide direct oversight to clinicians and facilitate ongoing staff supervision through meetings, training sessions, guest speakers, and literature reviews
- Master's Degree in Behavioral Science
- LPC, LADC, or LCSW certification
- Prior supervisory experience is essential; must be self-motivated and proactive
- A positive attitude towards clients with substance use disorders and experience working with this demographic is required
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening
