Griffin Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for protecting the life and property of all individuals on hospital premises and satellite properties.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Patrol hospital buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft, and vandalism.
- Protect life and property of all persons on hospital premises and satellite properties.
- Ensure the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to maintain a safe and secure environment.
**Requirements:**
- High school education, plus one year additional schooling in related security courses.
- Computer experience required.
- State of Connecticut Security License.
- Minimum six months experience in a similar security position.
