Job Summary


As a Utilization Review and Case Management RN, you will conduct concurrent and retrospective chart reviews to identify opportunities for improvement in clinical, financial, and resource utilization. You will work closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement strategies to reduce avoidable delays and denial of payment. This is a part-time, weekend shift position that requires strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct chart reviews to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce avoidable delays and denial of payment
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to improve clinical, financial, and resource utilization
  • Provide education and training to staff on utilization review and case management best practices

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Maryland Registered Nurse License
  • American Heart Association CPR Certification
