Key Responsibilities
  • Surveillance and Monitoring:
    • Utilize surveillance systems to monitor designated areas and identify potential security threats.
    • Conduct regular patrols to ensure premises are secure and respond to security incidents as needed.
  • Access Control:
    • Monitor access points and verify the credentials of personnel, visitors, and vendors.
    • Implement security protocols to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive areas.
  • Emergency Response:
    • Respond promptly to emergencies such as fire, medical incidents, or security threats.
    • Follow established procedures to handle crisis situations and liaise with emergency services when necessary.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
    • Prepare incident reports outlining security breaches or disturbances.
  • Customer Service:
    • Provide assistance and guidance to visitors, customers, and employees when needed.
    • Act as a point of contact for inquiries and directions.
  • Security Measures Implementation:
    • Enforce security protocols and guidelines established for the respective locations.
    • Participate in the development and implementation of security procedures.
Requirements
  • Security Guard Card: Required
  • Motor Vehicle Report: Ability to pass and provide a clean 39-month report
  • Security Experience: Proven experience in security-related roles or relevant training (security certification, law enforcement background, etc.)
  • Surveillance Systems: Knowledge of surveillance systems and security operations
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Flexibility: Flexibility with work schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
  • First Aid/CPR Certification: Preferred
  • Security Software: Proficiency in using security software and technology
Working Conditions

  • Work will be performed both inside and outside on a regular basis, in most weather conditions.
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required as a normal part of this position.
