We are looking for a dedicated Receivables Management Specialist to become a vital part of our team at Food Makers Bakery Equipment. In this role, you will be tasked with the crucial responsibility of managing and analyzing financial records for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle accounts and incoming payments in accordance with established financial policies and procedures.
  • Conduct daily financial operations, which include verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data.
  • Prepare invoices, bills, and bank deposits accurately.
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accurately accounted for and posted.
  • Identify discrepancies and resolve clients' billing issues effectively.
  • Assist in the timely payment of invoices by sending reminders and contacting clients as necessary.
  • Generate comprehensive financial statements and reports detailing the status of accounts receivable.
Required Skills
  • Demonstrated experience as an accounts receivable clerk, manager, or accountant.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage financial figures and records.
  • Excellent data entry skills coupled with a strong affinity for numbers.
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software (JDE or other comprehensive ERP software).
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Strong customer service orientation and negotiation capabilities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Sage software is essential.
