Senior Team Lead

NV5 is seeking a highly skilled Senior Team Lead to support the Land Cover group in producing various land use and land cover datasets.
About the Role- Support the Land Cover team in producing land use and land cover datasets from remotely sensed data sources.
- Supervise a team of knowledgeable staff who perform production tasks required to move a project unit from data preparation to final delivery.
- Facilitate technical workflow and programmatic process improvements.
- Monitor project benchmarks and provide oversight of data quality control (QC).
- Provide professional mentorship and track Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics.
- Personnel Management of Team Members
- Supervise technical production team members by appropriately delegating tasks.
- Implement and track individual and team KPIs.
- Coordinate with individuals to establish, track, and progress towards professional goals.
- Aid in hiring new team members.
- Production Supervision and oversight.
- Identification and coordination on the implementation of workflow process improvements.
- Support proactive planning and communication of team resourcing needs.
- Maintain tracking of data availability to ensure effective resource allocation.
- Provide QC oversight of internal and external workflow deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to project-specific best practices and standards.
- Project Management.
- Assist in project archival tasks.
- Help track project progress toward deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
- Ability to foster career development of production team members.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and limited direction.
