Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavior Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our staff, you will work directly with children diagnosed with ASD, helping them develop essential social, behavioral, and daily living skills. Your primary responsibility will be to implement evidence-based treatment plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support each child's growth and success in the classroom and community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect data on skill acquisition and behavioral progress for clients, recorded digitally on iPads.
  • Reduce behavioral excesses by following structured treatment plans.
  • Communicate regularly with supervisors and team members to ensure optimal outcomes for clients.

In addition to your core responsibilities, you will also contribute to maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including tasks such as sweeping, mopping, disinfecting toys and surfaces, and restocking supplies.

Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in ABA, psychology, child development, or related fields is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using Apple iPads for data tracking and communication.
  • A minimum of 16 hours per week availability, with flexibility to work four-hour blocks within our operating hours (Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM).

Please note that all candidates must pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting, as well as provide immunization records, including proof of TB test clearance.
