Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Northern Light Mercy Hospital. As a key member of our Float Pool, you will provide direct and indirect patient care under the direction of our nursing staff.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate and interact with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure successful customer outcomes.
  • Precept new team members and orient patients to the hospital environment and routine.
  • Participate in unit quality improvement initiatives and document patient care in a timely manner.
  • Provide care in accordance with the patient's plan of care and maintain a safe environment complying with NLH policies and procedures.
  • Label and deliver specimens per policy and perform other duties as requested.
Requirements
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
  • No minimum education requirement.
  • Ability to lift, move, and load 30 to 50 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work alternate shift schedules, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
