Orthopedic Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Orthopedic Technician to join our team at Seattle Children's. As a key member of our orthopedic team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Room patients and conduct thorough screenings to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Assist with patient procedures, implement treatment plans, and provide follow-up care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform associated clerical tasks, including chart preparation, stocking clinic supplies, and answering phones to maintain a smooth clinic operation.
- Collaborate with the orthopedic team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and families.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Certified Orthopedic Technologist by the National Association of Orthopaedic Technologists (NAOT) or Registered Orthopedic Technologist by the American Society of Orthopaedic Professionals (ASOP).
- Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification.
- Current Medical Assistant - Certified or Interim Certification by the Washington Department of Health (DOH).
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- One year of orthopedic experience.
- Medical Assistant experience in Pediatrics, Urgent Care, or Medical Screening and Immunization.
- Current National Medical Assistant Association Certification.
