Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to join our Richmond team as Practice Manager. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of approximately 14 direct reports, partnering with our Learning & Development team to ensure proper training and performance, and managing various aspects of the facility, including purchasing and property management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of approximately 14 direct reports
  • Partner with the Learning & Development team to ensure proper training and performance
  • Manage various aspects of the facility, including purchasing and property management
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Develop annual budgets and monitor, analyze, and report on practice revenue and other key performance indicators (KPIs)
Requirements

We are seeking a leadership professional who is dedicated to the advancement of veterinary medicine, with a strong emphasis on team building and staff development. You should be decisive and use your problem-solving skills to find solutions to potential obstacles or opportunities. Experience as a licensed veterinary technician (LVT) or certified veterinary practice manager (CVPM) is ideal, but not required. SHRM-CP, BS, MBA, or other advanced degree, are a plus.
