Responsibilities
  • Examine patients, take detailed medical histories, and chart important medical information
  • Read test results, interpret data, and make diagnostic suggestions
  • Explain test results and expected health outcomes to patients
  • Prescribe medication or therapy with physician oversight as part of a comprehensive treatment plan
  • Work closely with nurses, Physician Assistants, and Physicians to develop treatment plans
Qualifications
  • Valid state licensure required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with medical terminology, charting, and diagnostic tests
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
