Position Summary

The Automotive Service Associate plays a crucial role in performing essential automotive maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include executing oil changes, managing tire and wheel services, and conducting light vehicle upkeep. This position also involves driving customers, retrieving parts, and ensuring the shop remains clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotation.
  • Perform oil changes and other routine maintenance services.
  • Utilize the company's inspection protocols to accurately document vehicle conditions.
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the shop, including service areas, tire racks, and the showroom.
  • Drive vehicles safely and courteously, adhering to all traffic regulations.
  • Transport customers and pick up parts and supplies as needed.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends, and perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Uphold the company's core values and adhere to all policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • A basic understanding of automotive systems is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license in the state of employment is required.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Working Environment

The Automotive Service Associate will encounter moderate to loud noise levels, dust, exhaust fumes, and various automotive materials. The work environment may experience temperature fluctuations, including extreme heat or cold. Personal protective equipment may be necessary in certain situations.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and walk throughout the shop.
  • Regular bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching are required.
  • Capability to lift and move items weighing up to 70 pounds.
  • Effective communication skills with customers and team members.
  • Sufficient vision to perceive color, depth, and focus accurately.
