Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer care for minor injuries and illnesses as per physician directives and healthcare protocols.
  • Perform wound care, operate emergency medical equipment, and ensure follow-up treatment as necessary.
  • Prepare and dispense prescribed medications.
  • Conduct regular audits of assigned areas to ensure compliance and effective service delivery.
  • Monitor students in the health and wellness center.
  • Maintain organized and accurate student health records.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid, unencumbered LPN license in Louisiana with a minimum of two years of practical nursing experience.
  • Experience working with youth is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is required.
