We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inventory Control Manager to join our team at Elliott Auto Group. Key Responsibilities- Operations Planning: Participate in the development and implementation of departmental plans to achieve business objectives.
- Budgeting: Create and manage annual budgets for the parts department, ensuring accurate forecasting and financial reporting.
- Inventory Management: Reconcile daily parts invoices, track gross sales, and maintain tight control over inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
- Reporting and Analysis: Compile and analyze monthly management reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Staff Development: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to parts department staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Marketing: Coordinate parts marketing initiatives to promote our products and services to customers.
- Obsolescence Reporting: Calculate and submit monthly obsolescence reports to identify and manage inventory that is no longer needed or is approaching obsolescence.
- Department Meetings: Hold weekly department meetings to discuss progress, address concerns, and set goals and objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma and at least five years of experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- An Operator Driver's License (must be insurable).
