Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of commercial litigation cases from inception through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.
- Argue motions in court and represent clients during trials, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
- Consult with clients to provide legal advice and understand their objectives.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a comprehensive approach to case management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends relevant to commercial litigation.
- Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct and ethical behavior.
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial litigation.
- Demonstrated experience in arguing motions.
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and projects, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
