Key ResponsibilitiesAs an EP Technician, you will work under the supervision of the EP Lab Supervisor and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to assist with diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology procedures, including cardiac device implantation. Your responsibilities will include:
- Applying knowledge of radiographic imaging and 3D cardiac mapping during electrophysiological procedures.
- Adhering to sterile technique protocols.
- Collecting and analyzing data for performance improvement initiatives.
- Supporting departmental operations as directed by the supervisor.
To be considered for this position, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Graduation from a Cardiovascular Technology or Radiographic Technology program, or equivalent education with 2 years of clinical experience.
- Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
- RCES certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cardiovascular setting with proficiency in arrhythmia and 12-lead ECG interpretation.
