Logistics Coordinator

As a Logistics Coordinator at Independent Oh Logistics Llc, you will play a crucial role in scheduling and dispatching drivers and equipment to and from our accounts. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with drivers and customers.

• Prepare daily dispatch schedules for drivers and equipment.
• Prepare documentation for all loads as necessary.
• Seek out and schedule backhauls where appropriate; provide inbound report receiving.
• Update inbound and outbound orders in dispatch program.
• Respond promptly to driver inquiries regarding breakdowns, directions, product count discrepancies.
• Monitor drivers' hours to prevent DOT violations.
• Adjust delivery and backhaul assignments to accommodate breakdowns, late trucks, and other changes.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, a minimum of one year of related work experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Good customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail.

This position requires the ability to sit for long periods of time, with frequent interruptions. It also requires several hours per day of sitting, getting up and down from chairs, and reaching or bending.
