Job Title: Petroleum Dispatcher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Petroleum Dispatcher to join our team at Wayne Transports, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating drivers, trucks, and equipment to ensure prompt and efficient service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate drivers and equipment to create capacity and maximize productivity
• Review and audit driver trip sheets for load accuracy
• Communicate delays, issues, or concerns regarding customer load requests
• Provide drivers with information on delivery schedules, products, and supplier information
• Assist drivers with instructions on navigating customer locations
• Utilize TMW transportation logistics software to create new loads and update cancellations
• Record driver pay for ancillary pay such as empty miles and split deliveries

Requirements:

• Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills
• Methodical and detail-oriented with a professional attitude
• Excellent customer service skills with ability to work as a team
• At least two years dispatch experience with knowledge of the transportation industry
• TMW Suite software experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Sitting for long periods of time
• Walking occasionally
• Lifting up to 15lbs
• Occasional stooping and bending over
