Role Summary:

We are looking for motivated individuals with a minimum of one year of experience in warehouse operations to fill the role of Warehouse Associate. In this position, you will play a crucial role in the efficient handling of merchandise, including tasks such as picking, checking, packing, shipping, and receiving products in a fast-paced environment. Your contributions will be vital to our operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify daily assignments with the supervisor or team lead.
  • Handle all merchandise carefully to prevent injury and product damage.
  • Execute various tasks as directed by management.

Shipping Duties:

  • Accurately pull assigned parts within specified timeframes.
  • Review pick-pack messages for any special instructions.
  • Inspect orders for damage and verify accuracy.
  • Pack orders securely following best practices.
  • Update and manage route manifests.
  • Ensure timely departure of drivers and provide estimated times of arrival as needed.
  • Process shipments according to established instructions.
  • Confirm that all packages are collected by carriers.

Receiving Responsibilities:

  • Check in stock transfers according to designated timelines.
  • Receive shipments from domestic and international vendors, labeling parts and completing necessary paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate receiving logs and scan documentation into inventory control systems.

Inventory Management:

  • Efficiently stock assigned carts and pallets, including secondary locations.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in inventory.
  • Build and maintain put-away carts as required.
  • Notify management of any items that cannot be stored in designated locations.

Returns Processing:

  • Handle customer returns, including cancellations and refused shipments.
  • Process vendor returns, including cores and defective items.
  • Understand and apply the core return authorization process.

Qualifications:

  • Willingness to work overtime and flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Adherence to company policies and safety guidelines.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Demonstrated capability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.

Preferred Skills:

  • One year of experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Familiarity with RF scanning technology.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Capacity to stand, walk, climb ladders, and push carts throughout the shift.
  • Proficiency in reading part labels in English.
  • Ability to navigate stairs in some locations.
