About the Role

Bon Secours is seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with our primary care physicians to deliver exceptional patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service skills by greeting patients and the community in a respectful manner
  • Prepare and review patient charts for upcoming visits by verifying that all diagnostic test results, hospital reports, and other medical records are correct and up to date
  • Measure vital signs such as pulse rate, respiration, blood pressure, weight, and height
  • Perform departmental-related clerical duties such as checking inventory, stocking supplies, tracking referrals, and answering phones as needed
  • Must possess the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly
Requirements
  • High School Degree or GED
  • Active Medical Assisting Certification (required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire)
  • One year of medical assistant healthcare experience (preferred, not required)
  • Two years of clerical experience in a physician's office (preferred, not required)
