  • Prepare patients for visits by taking vital signs, documenting, and ordering entry within the EPIC system.
  • Perform specific specialized tests, such as pulmonary function tests and phlebotomy procedures, as needed.
  • Support a variety of clerical office functions, including calls, documentation, and scanning.
  • Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and coworkers at all times.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Able to promote a strong commitment towards achieving outstanding internal and external customer satisfaction and superior patient experience.
  • Able to work independently, prioritize, problem solve, and work cooperatively with faculty and staff.
  • BLS (CPR) certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Completion of a recognized MA program at an accredited college or university.
  • 1+ years of experience in direct patient care preferred.
