Avera MRI Technologist Job Summary

As a MRI Technologist at Avera, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to make clinical diagnostic images as directed by physicians and performing routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Perform routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school, or based Radiologic Technology Program
  • At least one year of experience with thorough knowledge of radiologic and MRI terminology, practices and procedures, physiology and human anatomy of training/experience in MRI
  • ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer required, ARDMS or ARRT - Magnetic Resonance preferred
