Job Title: Java Cloud Developer

Join our team of innovative developers at Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) as a Java Cloud Developer. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to collaborate with our Prototype Development Support group in developing cutting-edge cloud-based solutions.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Java Cloud Developer to join our team. As a Java Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and documenting big data cloud computing workflows. You will work closely with our customer in a highly collaborative and integrated environment, utilizing leading-edge technologies to develop analytics and provide innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop analytics pulling data from multiple cyber sources as well as classic SIGINT.
  • Develop prototypes answering new questions as well as providing better answers to existing questions.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and document big data cloud computing workflows.
  • Developing answers to questions via Java MapReduce, making them available via the corporate tool suites.
  • Research and work with AWS and other platforms for development.
Requirements:
  • Candidates must be a US Citizen, due to the sensitivity of the work.
  • Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph for consideration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (CS) degree or related field plus 5-years of relevant experience.
  • Master's degree plus 3-years of relevant experience.
  • An Associate's degree plus 7-years of relevant experience.
  • High school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Knowledge of IP Protocols and Network topologies.
  • Experience with GHOSTMACHINE analytic development.
  • Experience with Jira, Maven, and Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Initiative and must be self-motivated.
