Key Responsibilities:

1. **Recruitment and Onboarding**
  • Work collaboratively with headquarters and hiring managers to assess staffing requirements and create effective recruitment strategies.
  • Identify, screen, and interview candidates for various roles within the organization.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training sessions.

2. **Employee Relations**
  • Act as a primary resource for employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Coordinate with headquarters on all employee relations matters.
  • Investigate and resolve employee issues promptly and effectively.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives.

3. **Performance Management**
  • Support headquarters in managing performance evaluation processes, including goal setting and feedback sessions.

4. **Training and Development**
  • Assess training needs within the organization and partner with headquarters to develop training programs.

  • Maintain accurate employee records, including I9 documentation and HRIS data.

6. **Workers' Compensation**
  • Collaborate with headquarters on workers' compensation claims, including filing and coordinating with insurance providers.
  • Investigate workplace incidents to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Work closely with injured employees and medical providers to facilitate appropriate care.

7. **Benefits Administration**
  • Assist employees with inquiries regarding benefits eligibility and enrollment.
  • Manage benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.

8. **HR Administration**
  • Oversee various HR processes, including employee referrals and terminations.
  • Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and managers.
  • Prepare and distribute HR communications and documents.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Haitian-Creole is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting and payroll administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
