Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Control Systems Engineer to become a vital part of our team.


Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive control systems, equipment, and machinery.
- Create and implement control system designs; conduct bench tests; modify software and hardware to ensure optimal functionality of sensors and actuators; troubleshoot complex issues and manage change requests.
- Prepare cost assessments; gather necessary cost and equipment data, and draft and review funding requests.


- Analyze project requirements and challenges, formulating strategic plans for solutions that consider economic, personnel, and environmental factors.


- May oversee the installation and technical support of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based systems.


- Mentor and guide junior Controls Engineers.

- Skilled in Electrical System Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving electrical control system issues to restore optimal performance.


- Experienced in Factory Automation and Control Systems, implementing enhancements to automate manufacturing processes through innovative technology and programming techniques.


- Capable of Machine Programming, designing and executing factory floor machine programs to optimize equipment usage and overall operations.


- Committed to Health and Safety Fundamentals, promoting proactive health and safety practices to cultivate a culture of safety and contribute to an injury-free workplace.


Education and Experience
- A college or university degree or equivalent is required.
- This role may necessitate licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- Intermediate level of relevant work experience is essential.


Compensation and Benefits
The base salary is commensurate with experience, with a range provided as a good faith estimate. The final salary offer will be determined based on relevant factors, including qualifications and experience.
