About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of refugees and asylum seekers. As a Refugee Services Case Aid, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides essential support services to help individuals achieve self-sufficiency and cultural integration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide case management support to clients, including goal setting and achievement
  • Transport clients to appointments and services, ensuring they receive necessary support
  • Assist clients with public benefits, social security, and other essential services
  • Communicate effectively with clients, case managers, and service providers
  • Advocate for clients and promote awareness of program services within the refugee community
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with one year of experience in a similar role or a combination of education and experience
  • Reliable transportation, a valid Texas driver's license, and willingness to transport clients
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual skills in a common client language are an asset
