Job Summary

As an Area Manager at Omex, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional services to our clients' properties. You will oversee operations, personnel, quality control, and customer service, ensuring seamless execution of our cleaning services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Train and develop a team of custodians and supervisors, adhering to OMEX standards and best practices.
  • Evaluate personnel performance, enforcing OMEX policies and disciplinary procedures as needed.
  • Document absences, tardiness, and other important events, keeping the Operations Manager informed daily.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and paperwork, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and manage project lists for project and relief crews, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to guarantee quality work and adherence to contracts.
  • Implement an inventory control system, ordering supplies and delivering them to job sites efficiently.
  • Assign relief personnel to cover absences, performing tasks personally when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other area managers, providing support and coverage as needed.
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring work is completed within budgeted hours.
  • Maintain excellent customer relations, handling complaints and feedback through direct communication and regular visits.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development, enhancing management skills and staying up-to-date with industry best practices.


Requirements

  • Proven understanding of cleaning procedures, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ability to manage and train personnel, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to OMEX standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, customers, and OMEX officers.
  • Flexibility to respond to urgent needs and work extended hours, including 24-hour call availability.
  • Willingness to develop and apply management skills, with a focus on time management and effective leadership.
  • Participation in ongoing training and development, staying current with industry trends and best practices.
