The Client Operations Expert plays a crucial role within the Private Client Services division, acting as a key point of escalation while delivering operational support and oversight for client accounts and transactions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assumes responsibility and oversight for designated areas, guaranteeing timely and precise completion of the team's work.
  • Delegates tasks to team members as necessary, while remaining actively engaged in production work to stay informed about trends.
  • Exhibits proactive planning and execution to effectively manage substantial workloads.
  • Sets a standard for achieving results through example, demonstrating adaptability, and smoothly transitioning between tasks to meet business requirements.
  • Acts as the primary contact for the team regarding production-related matters and serves as the escalation point for assigned areas.
  • Functions as a secondary reviewer when required and manages complex or nuanced production tasks independently.
  • Identifies gaps and opportunities for resource enhancement, including processes and technology, ensuring timely updates are implemented.
  • Keeps management informed with a solution-oriented approach regarding team progress, capacity, and potential challenges.
  • Recognizes risks in daily production activities and promptly raises awareness to management.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert on broader departmental initiatives and reviews changes from other teams or external partners to proactively address potential impacts.
  • Collaborates closely with management to assess work distribution and ensure adequate coverage, making adjustments as necessary to adapt to changes.
  • Demonstrates approachability, consistently making themselves available to team members by initiating contact. Builds rapport directly with the team, other departments within PCS/CG, and external partners.
  • Skilled at guiding discussions, adjusting communication styles, and contributing to a supportive and dynamic team environment.
  • Utilizes a strategic skillset to contribute to departmental projects, long-term objectives, and goals.

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • Prior experience in financial services or client operations is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial management software.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to precision and quality.
  • Able to work effectively in a team setting and cultivate strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $116,974-$187,158

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions, and vesting requirements, you will also be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus, along with a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.

*Temporary positions in Canada and the United States are excluded from the aforementioned compensation and benefit plans.
