Position Overview
Azimuth Corporation is on the lookout for a seasoned Lead Modeling and Simulation Specialist to support our endeavors with a prominent Air Force client.

Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will:
- Provide advanced expertise to assist in the verification, validation, and accreditation processes for both new and updated models and simulations.
- Offer technical guidance to the engineering team, ensuring high standards in project execution.
- Implement unit testing across all software development initiatives, utilizing a microservices architecture, Kubernetes, and containerization effectively.
- Utilize approved Government systems to maintain capabilities for modeling, simulation, and analysis of the GBSD baseline, evaluating all associated subsystems (e.g., guidance, ground, propulsion, reentry systems, etc.).
- Formulate a comprehensive verification and validation strategy for all models and simulations.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant engineering experience with a Master’s Degree, or 9 years of experience with a PhD.
- Systems Engineering experience and/or certification.
- At least 6 years of progressive responsibility in a technical leadership capacity.
- Proficiency in C++, MATLAB, and Simulink programming.
- Familiarity with RF threat modeling and tools such as AFSIM, ESAMS, and JWS.
- An active TS clearance, with SCI eligibility potentially required.

Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineering License.

Work Environment
The role requires the ability to work in an office setting, primarily at a desk and computer. Occasional travel (approximately 10%) may be necessary for conferences, program reviews, and collaborative events, primarily within the continental United States.
