At ARM, we are seeking a highly skilled SoC Verification Engineer to join our team of experts in Bengaluru. As a key member of our Solution Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in verifying the functional correctness of our next-generation compute solutions using innovative technologies, methodologies, and tools.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement functional verification strategies, test plans, and methodologies to ensure the quality and reliability of our SoC designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architecture, design, verification, implementation, modeling, performance analysis, silicon validation, FPGA, and board development.
- Work closely with project management to plan tasks, set schedules, and ensure quality checkpoints are met.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Communicate effectively with peers, partners, and stakeholders across multiple fields.
- 12+ years of experience in SoC verification environments.
- Knowledge of assembly language (ARM), C/C++, and/or hardware verification languages (SystemVerilog), shell programming/scripting (Tcl, Perl, Python).
- Experience in one or more verification methodologies (UVM/OVM/eRM, formal, low power, emulation).
- Exposure to all stages of verification, including requirements collection, verification methodology plans, test plans, testbench implementation, test cases development, coverage closure, documentation, and support.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Practical experience of working on processor-based system design.
- Exposure to UVM or other industry-standard verification methodologies.
- Languages: Verilog, C/C++, Assembly language, Perl.
- Verification languages such as System Verilog.
- Strong understanding of CPU Architecture/micro-architectures.
- Team handling experience.
- Strong understanding of basic computer architecture.
- Good in logical programming using C/C++/Assembly with experience in embracing software engineering standard methodologies.
- Familiar with verification process such as Test Plan development, Testcase development.
- Familiarity of Unix/Linux working environment.
