Role Summary:
The Physical Therapist in Early Intervention is responsible for conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to establish treatment plans that promote optimal recovery and rehabilitation. This role also involves collaborating with healthcare teams to enhance operational efficiency and patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
- Utilize advanced evaluation techniques to assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations and treatment records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Supervise and effectively utilize support staff, including Physical Therapy Assistants and aides.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education tailored to their specific needs and circumstances.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current licensure to practice in the State of New Jersey.
- CPR certification is required.
- For home care roles, a valid driver's license and proof of insurance are necessary.
Work Environment:
This position is classified as part-time and per diem, offering flexibility in scheduling while contributing to a leading healthcare organization.
