Pediatric Physical Therapist

Virtua Health is seeking a skilled Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team. As a member of our school-based program, you will provide educationally based PT evaluations, treatments, and consultations to pediatric clients within the educational environment.

Working in conjunction with the school district's child study teams and teachers, you will ensure that the services delivered are relevant and useful in meeting the student's individual education plans (IEP).

The ideal candidate will have educationally based pediatric experience and be able to demonstrate comprehensive evaluation skills and interventions. They will also be able to maintain and complete all student documentation, records, and reports in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities will include consulting with student's child study team, teacher, family, paraprofessionals, district and non-district therapists, CST staff, contract coordinator, supervisors, and offsite director to provide optimum quality patient care and effective operations.

The successful candidate will be flexible and able to adjust their schedule to accommodate the needs of the students without negatively impacting treatment time or schedule.

Required qualifications include a minimum Bachelor's degree in physical therapy from a program accredited by the APTA, current licensure in the State of NJ, CPR certification, school certification by the NJ Department of Education, and a valid driver's license.
