Role Responsibilities
- Assessing advanced pixel technologies from leading global image sensor manufacturers.
- Partnering with image sensor suppliers to innovate and create new sensors tailored for diverse applications.
- Collaborating with both internal and external teams to ensure thorough testing is conducted at every phase to validate performance.
- Documenting findings and presenting them to engineering teams, both within and outside the organization.
- Engaging in cross-functional teamwork to develop next-generation camera products and features.
Essential Qualifications
- Proven experience in image sensor pixel and sensor development, including characterization, bring-up, and debugging, as well as wafer-level testing.
- Strong understanding of image sensor technology, performance metrics, and integration into camera systems.
- Awareness of industry trends and technical challenges related to imaging technologies.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with the camera team, leveraging knowledge across all aspects of sensor usage.
- Hands-on experience with silicon bring-up, sensor characterization, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as JMP, MATLAB, and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with demonstrated teamwork and leadership capabilities.
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of three years of applicable industry experience.

Compensation & Benefits
- At Apple, the base salary is one component of our comprehensive compensation package, which is determined within a specified range. This structure allows for career growth and development within your role. The salary range for this position is between $143,100 and $264,200, influenced by your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.
Apple employees have the opportunity to participate in stock programs, including discretionary restricted stock unit awards and a discounted Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Additional benefits include comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement plans, product discounts, and reimbursement for educational expenses related to career advancement.
