Overview

As a key member of our Camera Technologies team, you will engage in the design and development of advanced imaging solutions that elevate the photography experience across Apple products. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of innovative camera systems, from the sensor to the lens, ensuring that each generation of our devices surpasses the last in quality and performance.

Role Responsibilities

- Assessing advanced pixel technologies from leading global image sensor manufacturers.
- Partnering with image sensor suppliers to innovate and create new sensors tailored for diverse applications.
- Collaborating with both internal and external teams to ensure thorough testing is conducted at every phase to validate performance.
- Documenting findings and presenting them to engineering teams, both within and outside the organization.
- Engaging in cross-functional teamwork to develop next-generation camera products and features.

Essential Qualifications
  • Proven experience in image sensor pixel and sensor development, including characterization, bring-up, and debugging, as well as wafer-level testing.
  • Strong understanding of image sensor technology, performance metrics, and integration into camera systems.
  • Awareness of industry trends and technical challenges related to imaging technologies.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with the camera team, leveraging knowledge across all aspects of sensor usage.
  • Hands-on experience with silicon bring-up, sensor characterization, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as JMP, MATLAB, and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with demonstrated teamwork and leadership capabilities.
Education & Experience

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of three years of applicable industry experience.

  • At Apple, the base salary is one component of our comprehensive compensation package, which is determined within a specified range. This structure allows for career growth and development within your role. The salary range for this position is between $143,100 and $264,200, influenced by your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.
