Join Our Team as a Display Optical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Display Optical Engineer to join our team at Apple. As a key member of our Display Technologies group, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge display technologies for our products.

As a Display Optical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing innovative display solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and develop display modules, characterize prototypes, and analyze data to drive improvements in display quality.

We are looking for a talented individual with a strong background in physics, optics, or a related field. You should have experience with display technologies, optical simulation tools, and programming languages such as MATLAB and Python. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop display modules and prototypes
  • Characterize and analyze display performance using optical simulation tools
  • Develop and implement display quality metrics and specifications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive display innovation and improvement
  • Travel internationally to work with suppliers and partners
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in physics, optics, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in display technologies or a related field
  • Strong background in optics, physics, and display technologies
  • Experience with optical simulation tools and programming languages
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
