Job Title: Fixed Income Trader

We are seeking a skilled Fixed Income Trader to join our team at T Rowe Price Group, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for trading Municipal securities in both tax-free and taxable markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute Municipal trades efficiently using platforms and dealer relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with portfolio managers and analysts to ensure trading strategies align with client portfolio investment objectives.
  • Analyze and offer insights on relative value.
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with dealers, technology providers, and market platforms to secure essential market insights and liquidity options.
  • Enhance our trading infrastructure, processes, and team culture by embracing innovation and promoting teamwork.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of work-related experience.
  • Strong communication skills to communicate market color and investment strategies.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA, MS, or CFA (or in progress).
  • Advanced technical skills: Proficiency in using trading platforms and experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis and trading strategy development.
  • Strong analytical abilities: The ability to synthesize complex financial information to make informed trading decisions.
