About the RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and identifying speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, developing individualized education programs (IEPs), and delivering personalized therapy sessions tailored to each student's needs.
You will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to address and enhance students' communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate and identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders; develop and implement IEPs.
- Provide direct therapeutic services, monitor student progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to address and enhance students' communication skills.
- Conduct screenings, maintain comprehensive records, and actively engage in team meetings for effective planning.
- Advocate for students, stay updated on current research, and pursue professional development opportunities.
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorder, or related field.
- Alaska Teaching Certification Type C required.
- Alaska SLP license required.
- ASHA CCC-SLP Certification.
This is a 1099 position with an hourly rate of $45-$55. The hourly rate is consistent across direct hours, indirect hours, and planning periods.
