Job Summary:

The Farmington Public Schools is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of ECSE Fatpps Committee Member. This is a one-year position that requires a current licensed teacher in the State of Minnesota and a continuing contract teacher in Farmington Public Schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the building principal to interview and select building FIS positions, Mentors, and Peer Coaches.
  • Submit recommendations to the Farmington Education Association Executive Board and Board of Education for final approval.
  • Work collaboratively with the building Staff Development Committee/Building Leadership Team to determine a process for membership rotations in subsequent years.
  • Attend training in Summer/Fall, which would include the Charlotte Danielson Framework of Teaching (CDFT) and Reflective Teaching protocols.

Requirements:

  • Current licensed teacher in the State of Minnesota.
  • Continuing contract teacher in Farmington Public Schools.
  • Committed to professional development and growth.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including displaying respect, empathy, and integrity with encouraging and supporting individual and team efforts.
  • Must be tenured.
