Key Responsibilities
Your role as a Driver / Shuttle Operator will involve:
- Ensuring the safe transportation of members during their time in your care.
- Assisting members with boarding and disembarking, as well as addressing any special needs during transit.
- Maintaining the company vehicle in a pristine condition, ensuring it is clean, organized, and in excellent working order, promptly reporting any issues.
Required Qualifications
To qualify for the Driver / Shuttle Operator position at our Adult Day Centers, you should meet the following criteria:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 21 years of age.
- A minimum of three (3) years of valid driving experience with appropriate state and vehicle-specific credentials.
- This position is physically demanding, and you should be able to meet the physical requirements of the role.
- Previous experience working with seniors or individuals with special needs is advantageous.
- As this is a driving position regulated by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), you must be able to:
- Successfully pass a required physical examination, including a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
- Achieve favorable results from a background check and Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- Obtain clear results from a pre-employment drug screening.
