Key Responsibilities

Your role as a Driver / Shuttle Operator will involve:

  • Ensuring the safe transportation of members during their time in your care.
  • Assisting members with boarding and disembarking, as well as addressing any special needs during transit.
  • Maintaining the company vehicle in a pristine condition, ensuring it is clean, organized, and in excellent working order, promptly reporting any issues.

Required Qualifications

To qualify for the Driver / Shuttle Operator position at our Adult Day Centers, you should meet the following criteria:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of valid driving experience with appropriate state and vehicle-specific credentials.
  • This position is physically demanding, and you should be able to meet the physical requirements of the role.
  • Previous experience working with seniors or individuals with special needs is advantageous.
  • As this is a driving position regulated by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), you must be able to:
    • Successfully pass a required physical examination, including a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
    • Achieve favorable results from a background check and Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
    • Obtain clear results from a pre-employment drug screening.
