Yard Jockey Driver

Job Summary:

Geomet Recycling is seeking a skilled Yard Jockey Driver to assist with the coordination of logistical functions and management of dock assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily pre-shift/pre-trip inspections of yard mule/truck.
• Receive inbound loads and communicate information to scale operator.
• Stage trailers at docks as directed by scale operator.
• Assist with inventory of trailers at end of each business day.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED required.
• 1-2 years' experience as a yard mule driver.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain Active CDL license (Class A or B).
