Summary:Geomet is seeking to fill the position of Yard Jockey driver.  This full-time position assists with the coordination of the logistical functions of the organization; assists in the management of and assignments to the various docks.  

Essential Functions:

• Completes daily pre-shift/pre-trip inspection of yard mule/truck.
• Receives inbound loads and communicates information to scale operator.
• Stages trailers at docks as directed by scale operator.
• Assists with inventory of trailers at end of each business day.
• Other projects/tasks as assigned

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:This is a full-time position and workdays are Monday through Friday. 

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma/GED required
• 1-2 years' experience as a yard mule driver
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills and time management
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

• Maintain Active CDL license (Class A or B)
