Role Summary:

We are in search of a dedicated Community Director for our active adult community. In this pivotal role, you will cultivate strong relationships with residents, prospective tenants, Portfolio Manager, and the on-site team. Your primary responsibility will be overseeing the community's operations while maximizing the property's revenue potential.

  • Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing office team.
  • Foster a community culture that enhances residents' lifestyles through exceptional customer service and a supportive environment.
  • Conduct ongoing training and performance assessments for team members.
  • Engage with the community by participating in resident-led events and activities.
  • Involve yourself in sales initiatives and leasing processes while building strong connections with current and prospective residents.
  • Maintain optimal occupancy and revenue levels for the community.
  • Oversee daily property operations to meet financial objectives and budgetary guidelines.
  • Ensure the community's physical condition and aesthetic appeal through regular property inspections and readiness of units.
  • Monitor local market trends and conditions; identify improvement opportunities and make strategic recommendations.
  • Conduct thorough application and credit checks for all prospective residents.
  • Keep accurate records of liability insurance.
  • Exercise prudent judgment regarding property expenditures and ensure timely invoice submissions.
  • Proactively manage vacancies by ensuring timely unit turnover in collaboration with maintenance supervisors and implementing effective marketing strategies.
  • Ensure prompt service and enforcement of eviction processes for non-payment of rent and rule violations.
  • Assist the Portfolio Manager with various tasks, including budget preparation and financial reporting.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Comply with Fair Housing Laws.

Ideal Candidate:

We seek a professional, relationship-oriented Community Director capable of effectively managing daily operations while leading a team and fostering resident relationships.

  • Prior experience in multifamily property management is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with financial statements, budgets, and invoicing.

  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and insured, operational vehicle.
