Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Daytona Beach. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients, working closely with our healthcare team to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform computed tomography scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as necessary to ensure accurate and high-quality images.
  • Operate imaging equipment safely and properly, minimizing radiation exposure to patients, families, and coworkers.
  • Screen patients for any contrast allergies and educate them on the exam process.
  • Complete exams in a timely manner, maintaining a smooth workflow and minimizing empty table time.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or technical degree in a related field.
  • Two years of hospital-based clinical radiology experience preferred.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and Computed Tomography A.R.R.T. (CT) certification if required by the facility.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
